في مشهد يتكرر كل يوم، يقف أسامة، الكفيف منذ عام 2001، في طابور الماء، متشبثًا بيد زوجته نداء كمن يتشبث بالحياة، وعلى جانبهما سندس الصغيرة ببراءة الطفولة.

يقول أسامة بنبرة تختصر حكاية عمر: “نداء هي بصري الذي فقدته، وسندي الذي لا يميل. تخرج معي رغم التعب، لأننا نحمل هذا العطش معًا.”

‏In a scene that repeats every day, Osama, blind since 2001, stands in the water queue, clinging to his wife Nidaa as if grasping at life itself, with their little daughter Sundus by their side, embodying the innocence of childhood. Osama says with a tone that encapsulates a lifetime of stories: “Nidaa is the sight I lost, and the support that never wavers. She comes out with me despite the fatigue, because we bear this thirst together.”
